The official in Nepal has said that death toll from the destructive earthquake crossed more than 3000 on Monday. Still there are many more people missing and yet identification of people who were found dead is not possible.
Nepalese Ministry of Home Affairs spokesman Laxmi Dhakal said that 3,218 are reported dead up to now.
India has reported 56 deaths, and China another 20.
Dhakal further added that 6,525 people were reported to have been injured.
